王晓兵,曼彻斯特中国研究院学术副院长，英国曼彻斯特大学经济学系副教授，《中国经济与商业研究》副主编，毕业于伦敦经济学院和伦敦大学国王学院。曾任中国留英留欧经济学会主席，当前研究主要关注政府在发展中的作用，技术变革与劳动力市场。在二元经济模型和社会福利的研究方面享有国际声誉，作品多次获奖。拥有丰富的媒体经验，经常应各国媒体等之邀，评论有关世界经济及中国事务等议题。

Dr. Xiaobing Wang is the research director of the Manchester China Institute, an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Manchester, and the Director of the MSc Economics program. He serves as the co-editor of The Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies. Dr. Wang holds degrees from the London School of Economics and King's College London. He has previously served as the President of the Chinese Economic Association (UK/Europe). Xiaobing Wang’s research is in the area of Growth and Development, Structural Change, and the Economics of China, with special interest in the role of the state, technological change, and the labor market. He is internationally recognized for his work on dual-economy models and social welfare measures. He has extensive media experience (TV, radio and newspaper) and is a frequent commentator on the Chinese economy and a wide range of global economic issues.
